Ashley Cole
About Me
My name is Ashley Cole, and I am the Managing Director of Powerhouse Pyrotechnics. I have been working in the pyrotechnics industry for four years and founded Powerhouse Pyrotechnics almost three years ago. My journey into the world of professional fireworks began after hosting a private Bonfire Night party for friends and family. The success of that event sparked my interest in the professional side of fireworks, and I decided to turn that passion into a career. Before joining the fireworks industry, I served in the military, where I developed skills in leadership, planning, and precision—qualities I now bring to every show we deliver.

Experience
Since founding Powerhouse Pyrotechnics, I have overseen all aspects of the business, from client engagement and project planning to operational management and safety compliance. My military background has been invaluable in ensuring every display is executed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. I work closely with our show designers and firing teams to deliver exceptional fireworks experiences across the UK and internationally.

Hobby
Outside of work, my favourite hobbies are riding motorbikes and spending time with my family.

About Me
My name is Will Marriott, and I am a fireworks professional with over 20 years of experience in the pyrotechnics industry. I currently work as a Show Designer at Powerhouse Pyrotechnics, a role I have held for the past year. My passion for fireworks began at the age of 14 while volunteering on a steam railway, where I was invited by the train guard—also a pyrotechnician—to see and help with a fireworks setup. From that first show, I knew this was the industry for me.

Experience
I have worked on a wide range of high-profile and international displays, including the British Firework Champions in Plymouth (three times), the Southport British Musical Firework Competition (three times), and the Festival of Fireworks at Catton Hall. My experience also includes firing displays for The Only Way Is Essex, delivering shows in Saudi Arabia, and firing displays all over the UK. I previously held the role of Display Manager for three years.
Hobby
Outside of the fireworks industry, my favourite hobby is working with the Jet Car Team Firestorm at Santa Pod Raceway.

EXPERIENCE
Since joining Powerhouse Pyrotechnics, the invaluable experience I have gained has been from our amazing team. Teamwork is absolutely paramount when putting on a pyrotechnic display, and the team at Powerhouse is second to none. From the initial design of the show and selection of pyrotechnics to the logistics and rigging of the show, with outstanding precision. We are a close-knit team that all share the same vision and pride in our work, ensuring every display we fire is one to remember. The experience handed down from others is something never to be overlooked!
ABOUT ME
My name is Lee, and I have been working for Powerhouse now for three years, not only as display coordinator and brother-in-law to Ashley, but also as the company's graphic designer. I have been in the design industry since I was 16, so I like to think I have gained an eye for detail and design which I bring to everything that we do as a team and a company. It’s the details that set us apart.

LEADERSHIP AND VISION
My vision is to enter and win one of the major professional fireworks competitions held annually both in the uk and internationally. These are the pinnacle of the industry and I know it is a goal that our team, and Powerhouse Pyrotechnics can achieve with style.
HOBBY
Outside of work I ‘Jive’ a lot to Rock ‘n’ Roll bands with my wife and I am heavily involved in a 1950’s Swing Jive dance troupe, dancing regular shows and events.
